VDC Manager & Managing Partner

Blake Aboody is a VDC Manager and a Managing Partner at Precision Mechanical Drafting. Blake specializes in providing comprehensive BIM coordination & fabrication services for mechanical contractors and BIM coordination management on behalf of construction managers and design professionals during the design and pre-construction phase of project.

​Blake grew up in the Worcester area working residential construction and studied construction & design at Doherty High School. After high school Blake studied Architecture at Fitchburg State University where he earned a B.S. in Architecture and worked with several architectural firms such as Nault Architectural and Goodell Design & Construction. Upon graduation he worked for a civil engineering firm and eventually for a leading mechanical contractor in the region where he would develop and hone his BIM/ MEP skills. While working at the mechanical firm Blake developed the CAD / BIM department from scratch into one of the most capable departments in the region with extensive pre-fabrication capabilities. Blake has a strong attention to detail, and a keen ability to implement and leverage complex BIM / CAD technologies in an efficient and logical manner.
