VDC Manager & Managing Partner

James Lees is a VDC Manager and a Managing Partner at Precision Mechanical Drafting. James specializes in providing comprehensive BIM coordination & fabrication services for mechanical & plumbing contractors and BIM coordination management on behalf of construction managers and design professionals during the design and pre-construction phase of project.

James earned a degree in applied science of computer aided drafting & design and began his career working for a mechanical design engineering firm where he learned the fundamentals of HVAC & plumbing systems, eventually managing the company’s MEP coordination department. He further crafted his MEP coordination experience working for one of the leading mechanical contractors in the region where he gained invaluable field experience and practical knowledge of the fabrication and construction process. Through his experience working on both sides of the construction aisle, James brings a unique understanding of both MEP design engineering and real-world construction coordination.
