As a VDC Manager/Managing partner at Precision Mechanical Drafting, Blake specializes in providing 3D modeling and coordination services for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for trade contractors.  He also specializes in BIM/ MEP coordination management on behalf of construction managers and design professionals during the design and pre-construction phase of projects.

Blake grew up in the construction industry working residential construction in the Worcester area, studied construction & design at Doherty High School, and studied Architecture at Fitchburg State College where he earned a B.S. in Architecture.  While at Fitchburg State, Blake worked with architectural firms and developers such as Nault Architectural and Goodell Design and Construction.  After college, he wanted to see what the other Engineering/Design trades were like, so he worked for a civil engineering firm and then a leading commercial mechanical contractor.  Working for that Mechanical Contractor made him realize he preferred the engineering, fabrication, and installation side of construction. While working there Blake developed the companies CAD/ BIM department from a small one-man operation to one of the most technologically advanced departments in the region that excelled at pre-construction coordination, fabrication of duct and piping systems, and on-site total station layout. Blake has a strong attention to detail, and a keen ability to implement and leverage complex BIM/ CAD technologies in an efficient and logical manner.
