ABOUT JAY SCHNEIDER

As a VDC Manager/Managing partner at Precision Mechanical Drafting, Jay specializes in providing 3D modeling and coordination services for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for trade contractors.  He also specializes in BIM/ MEP coordination management on behalf of construction managers and design professionals during the design and pre-construction phase of projects. 

 
Jay  grew up in the construction industry working for his families Sheetmetal business Tinworks. Throughout high school he worked as a draftsman and earned a B.S. degree in engineering from Roger Williams College.  After college, he returned to the Sheetmetal industry where he ultimately managed and owned Tinworks for over 11 years.  Jay is a licensed Sheetmetal worker and altogether has over 30 years of experience.
