ABOUT STEPHEN MATTHEWS

As a Lead Coordinator and Project Manager at Precision Mechanical Drafting, Steve specializes in providing 3D modeling and coordination services for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for trade contractors.  He also specializes in BIM/ MEP coordination management on behalf of construction managers and design professionals during the design and pre-construction phase of projects. 

 

Steve brings extensive experience to the Precision team. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts and holds several Revit and CAD certifications from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Steve began his career as a mechanical design engineer, and later for a leading mechanical contractor where he managed the BIM/ CAD department for more than 10 years. Steve’s background in both design and construction allows him to understand provide valuable insights that proactively solve problems, minimize costly errors, and ultimately deliver a higher quality product for our clients.
